Aeroplex’s talent development program is in full motion: this September, 33 young professionals began their careers at the company. The newly hired aircraft mechanics and technicians gained hands-on experience at Aeroplex during their studies as part of a dual education program.
In September, thirty-three newly qualified aircraft mechanics and avionics technicians joined the Aeroplex team. Although they are new employees, both the hangar and the company’s operations are already familiar to them — over the past two academic years, they completed their practical training at Aeroplex as part of the dual vocational education system.
The young professionals passed their final exams this spring as students of the Kossuth Lajos Bilingual Technical School in Csepel, and immediately joined Hungary’s largest aircraft maintenance company as full-time employees upon graduation.

Aeroplex has been a strategic partner of the Csepel technical school for several years, playing a key role in developing the next generation of aviation maintenance professionals in Hungary. Through the company’s in-house program, students in grades 12 and 13 attend practical training twice a week at the Aeroplex Training Centre, which offers modern classrooms, training workshops, and fully equipped hangars to prepare them for real-world maintenance work.
According to Zsolt Szabó, Director of the Aeroplex Training Centre, “We are proud that our practical training program meets European industry standards. By combining base maintenance training with on-the-job experience in line maintenance from this academic year onward, our graduates acquire valuable technical knowledge and company-specific skills, enabling them to integrate smoothly into daily maintenance operations.”
Currently, around 109 students are enrolled at the Training Centre for the 2025–2026 academic year, with more than 40 expected to graduate next year as certified aircraft mechanics or avionics technicians. Aeroplex’s goal is to secure a sustainable pipeline of skilled professionals for Hungary’s aircraft maintenance industry and to offer long-term career opportunities for young talents entering the field.
