Aeroplex Component Repair Center (ACRC) blog

  • The Aeroplex logo is now on the wall of the new Component Repair Center!

The Aeroplex Component Repair Center (ACRC) got a new look just in time before the opening. Thanks to Bepro Signfactory Ltd. the Aeroplex logo can now be found on the walls of the hall provided by HelloParks.

The impressive logo is 6 metres long and 2 metres high and is positioned more than 10 metres off the ground.

Production at Aeroplex's new plant will start soon, but until then, the finishing touches are still being done. We are very excited about this new chapter in ACE's life! Stay tuned for the updates about the ACRC! ✈️

  • It's starting to take shape

The new Aeroplex Component Repair Center (ACRC) at HelloParks Maglód near Budapest Airport is beginning to take shape spectacularly. In the past few days, the new FPI lines have been set up, where we will perform non-destructive testing of the components. Additionally, the new cranes and the roller conveyor system for wheels and brakes repair have been installed. Soon, more machines will arrive. Meanwhile, the workshops and office areas are also being equipped. In the coming weeks, we will be back with more photos from the location.

  • Get Ready for the new ACRC!

Aeroplex opens new doors in the aviation industry. Our Component Repair business is unique in the MRO segment, as it enables a great deal of maintenance work in-house, which directly supports our Base Maintenance and Line Maintenance business.

In addition, Component Repair still handles many third-party orders, including engine parts repair, composite structure repair, and wheels and brakes maintenance.

Still, the existing capacities were not enough to serve the really big players in the market, even though the capabilities and quality are all available at Aeroplex.

The new ACRC provides an answer to this, which simultaneously gives momentum to Aeroplex to become a top supplier in a new segment of the aviation industry, and on the other hand, provides access to Aeroplex's services to a wide range of our existing and future partners from North America to Europe and Asia.

Stay tuned, ACRC is coming in Autumn of 2024!

  • The takeover

Preparation work is in full progress at the HelloParks industrial park in Maglod, the location of the Aeroplex Component Repair Centre (ACRC).
In the first weeks of May, we took over the 7,000 square metre hall, which will start operations in a few months, increasing our current component repair capacity tenfold. This is huge step for Aeroplex to become a dominant player in a new segment of the aviation industry in the region, providing more capacity, more competitive prices, better service, excellent TAT and an improved customer experience.
Our three main activities in the new ACRC will be wheels and brakes repair, engine hardware repair and composite structure repair but there will be several related activities such as painting, media blasting, non-destructive testing and logistics.

But what does this capacity expansion mean in numbers yearly?
    👉30,000 engine hardware repairs
    👉20,000 wheels repairs
    👉600 breaks repairs
    👉2000 composite component repairs.

We are ready to provide flexible, continuous, capacity expansion based on our customer’s needs.
Stay tuned for regular updates on the progress of our new plant in the coming months!
