A record number of 55 young professionals successfully completed their technical exams at Aeroplex this year, Hungary’s largest aircraft maintenance company. Nearly 40 of them are expected to begin their careers at the company from September.

In its article, Index.hu takes readers inside Aeroplex’s training workshop at Budapest Airport, where the next generation of aircraft mechanics and avionics technicians gain hands-on experience as part of a dual education programme. Students learn the foundations of the profession using real aircraft components, specialised tools and industry-standard procedures, with a strong focus on safety culture and accurate documentation.
In the interview, Anikó Vasas, HR Director of Aeroplex, highlighted that training the company’s own future workforce is a strategic priority, especially as the aircraft maintenance industry faces a significant global shortage of skilled professionals. Aeroplex aims to offer young talents a stable, long-term career path with continuous development opportunities in Hungary.
