Airbus A300 arrives for maintenance at Aeroplex for the first time

In recent years, Aeroplex has continuously expanded its offerings, most recently with Airbus A320neo and A330 types, and now, they have embarked on the maintenance of a rare aircraft, the Airbus A300.

Aircraft maintenance companies carefully plan their portfolios, determining which aircraft they will accept for maintenance. Preparation for a new type can take up to a year before the aircraft can appear in the hangar.

In addition to the appropriate facilities and skilled mechanics, tools and materials are required, which are inspected by authorities before granting permission. Alongside the challenges of preparing for a new type, Kornél Bóta, the Logistics and Purchasing Director at Aeroplex, discussed the role of logistics and the global supply chain with AIRportal.hu.
