Infrastructure & Facility

Location: Romaero base at Băneasa Airport

Our infrastructure is designed to support robust operations. The hangar space can accommodate up to two narrow-body aircraft with a total area of 3300 m². Our easily accessible warehouse facilities are equipped to support production needs, while operations within the hangar are distinctly separated between ACE and local operations. To ensure security, our facilities have controlled access, and dedicated office space is available to accommodate customer representatives.

We specialize in servicing Boeing 737 Classic (CL) and Next Generation (NG) aircraft, with the capability to operate up to two production lines. Additionally, we offer backshop support including sheet metal work, non-destructive testing (NDT), composite repairs, painting, wheels repairs, and avionics support.

Our teams in Bucharest is led by experienced supervisors and shop leaders from Aeroplex, supported by certified local technicians operating seven days a week, twelve hours per day. This team is complemented by additional local staff, including engineers, logistics personnel, and shop workers.

Efficient logistics and custom clearance are critical to our operations. We maintain an active logistics connection between Budapest and Bucharest, ensuring all materials and tools are delivered to the site at the appropriate time. Our procurement processes are managed with the same efficiency and reliability as our Budapest operations, handling both general and emergency needs effectively. All logistics operations adhere to ACE standards, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.

Aeroplex Bucharest operates under Aeroplex’s Part-145 approval, complying with all regulatory requirements and ACE’s stricter internal company regulations. Our local staff undergo various training programs at the Aeroplex Budapest base to maintain and enhance their skills.
